From 21st June to 4th July all the great names of the tennis circuit will be thrashing out their differences at the World famous Wimbledon, with a lot at stake and some very royal spectators.

This year it has been announced that the prize money for the Men’s and Ladies’ Singles Champions is to be £1,000,000, an increase of £150,000 on 2009.

The total prize money for the event will be a record £13,725,000, an increase of £1.175 million on 2009.

In addition, the Queen has indicated that she will be attending The Championships this year; the first time since 1977.

Wimbledon has changed considerably since the Queen’s previous visit, most notably with much improved facilities, including the Centre Court roof which was unveiled last year.

The essential character of Wimbledon has not changed however – the passion of players and spectators makes for one of the world’s most exhilarating sporting events.

If you wish to share in the occasion, perhaps for a hospitality event or for your own leisure taking a helicopter direct to the event could really make it a special day.

A helicopter will get you and your friends or business colleagues to the event without any stress of traffic and car parking. Arrive in style.
