Well it’s not my fault, really it’s not.  It’s Fort Lauderdale’s fault.  It just has so many great bars! And I have visited a few since we arrived!

So here are a few of Wendy’s faves.  Make notes people, I’m only doing this for you.  I love the new tables in St Tropez Bistro, (you know, the bistro where I’ve got my own chair), Gerard they look great, all the step back in time glamour of the real St Tropez.

And I also love the red, white and blue lights you’ve wound up the palm trees outside like a french flag. Great by night, very atmospheric.

But best of all is the delicious Sangria that Christine made for us. I’m actually becoming quite a specialist on Sangria!

Then of course at the top of Las Olas Boulevard is my favourite Mexican restaurant Rocco’s Tacos Tequila Bar,

This place is just so amazingly busy and buzzy it seems no matter what time of day or night you call in, and big plus point, they play great music.

So if you want to eat really good Mexican food, washed down with the best Margherita in town, take my advice and book a table.

I think I may have given it a mention before, but anyway, it’s worth a second mention.  American Social right in the heart of East Las Olas Blvd.

Its loud and energetic, live music, flat screen tv’s all around, an endless selection of craft beers and a funky feature, the frozen ‘pour it yourself’  beer taps.  I love it and it seems so does the rest of FL.

After a hard days work, it’s a good place to go and unwind (what do you mean? of course I work now and again). And here is yours truly with Marky Mark, Derek and Adrienne from the office 🙂
