Where is Las Vegas?
Las Vegas, Spanish for The Meadows, is a town located on the west part of the U.S. in Nevada. It is best known for its insane amount of casinos and overall gambling oriented culture. However, Nevada is a massive state and Las Vegas can be a little complicated to find on the map if you don’t know where to look. Having its own airport, the town is more than easily accessible. You can literally start playing as soon as you get out of the aircraft. If you play your cards right (pun intended) you can even manage to get free meals or transport in Las Vegas!
What to do in Las Vegas?
The question should probably be what not to do in Las Vegas? Day or Night, there is no bad time to find something to do. Would you like to see many different countries packed into one town? You can! See Venice and its Gondolas, the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty, Saint Mark’s Square or even a slice of Egypt at the Luxor hotel! Of course, when thinking about Vegas, you have to think about weddings. For romantic getaways in Vegas, it’s possible to get married on the spot in one of the many little chapels. No waiting period!
For those who enjoy the thrill of a good rollercoaster ride there is the Stratosphere, the highest building in Nevada, equipped with several rollercoasters. If you’re more down to earth, you will enjoy shopping at the Caesar‘s Palace or taking a trip to the Springs Preserve to see the botanical garden or even visit the Atomic Testing Museum.
Last but not least, in Vegas, you’ll probably want to gamble. Choose amongst the many casinos and enjoy free drinks as you play. Whether you like to play big or not, whether you’re playing to win or for fun, there will be something for you to enjoy: Roulette, blackjack, slot machines etc. Take your pick!
