Have you ever felt like going on holiday in a really warm country to forget all about your daily life? If you have, then you probably have set your mind on flying to a tropical island. We can help you book your jet, book your accommodation and even help you choose a great destination. That’s right; we have compiled a list of destinations to help you find where to fly! In this instance, we would like to introduce: Punta Cana!
Where is the Punto Cana?
Punta Cana is on the east coast of the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic shares an island with Haiti which occupies the west part of the island. The island is located west of Puerto Rico, north of Venezuela, east of Cuba and south east of Florida. If you’re looking for a warm holiday, that’s the ideal spot! Here is a map with its location:
The closest airport (Punta Cana Airport) is located on the east side of the city, by the sea. It takes less than five minutes to travel from town to the airport. It is also less than 20 minutes of the famous Cap Cana in a taxi, so if you choose to stay in Cap Cana, you’re sure to have easy access to the airport and Punta Cana. Get a price to fly now!
What to do in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic?
One very obvious choice in Punta Cana is to go to the beach. Bavaro Beach and Macao Beach are prime examples of white sand and palm tree packed tropical beaches. Golf enthusiasts will have a great time on the island, if they can choose their favourite course. There are indeed many that are available, such as the Iberostate Bavaro Golf & Club, the Hard Rock Golf Club, the Punta Espada Golf Course, the La Cana Golf Course and Corales Golf Course, all located either in Punta Cana or Cap Cana. If you would like to experience nature in a different way, you can also visit the Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park for a guided tour!
You can also experience the marine wildlife first hand with the Marinarium Snorkeling Cruise or if you would like something on land you can rent a buggy from Cap Cana Adventure Buggies. If that’s not hard core enough for you and if you don’t mind getting dirty you can also consider caving! If you travel with your family, then you can also experience the thrill of the Sirenis Aquagames. They are great for a day of family fun. Finally, for your evenings, we recommend the Ocean Adventures - Caribbean Buccaneers Dinner Show for a great family dinner or the Hard Rock Casino for gambling enthusiast who would like to feel like they’re in Las Vegas after a day at the beach!
